The 365 GTS transformed Ferrari’s refined 365 GTC into an exceptionally rare open grand tourer, combining Pininfarina purity with a broad-torque 4.4-liter V12 and a beautifully balanced transaxle chassis.

Why it matters
Introduced for 1969 as the open successor to the 330 GTS, the 365 GTS shared the 365 GTC’s elegant Pininfarina form, compact 2,400 mm wheelbase and mechanical specification. Its 4,390 cc Tipo 245/C Colombo V12 produced approximately 320 hp and sent power through a rear-mounted five-speed transaxle, supporting balanced handling alongside independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes. Paired vents on the hood distinguished the 365 from the earlier 330, whose cooling outlets sat on the front fenders. Ferrari completed only 20 examples, making the 365 GTS one of the rarest series-production open road cars of its era.
