The 375 America was Ferrari’s formidable luxury flagship, pairing bespoke coachwork with the largest and most powerful road-going Lampredi V12 of its era.

Why it matters

Presented alongside the 250 Europa at the 1953 Paris Motor Show, the 375 America was reserved for Ferrari’s most important clients. Its 4.5-liter Lampredi V12 produced approximately 300 hp, an extraordinary figure for a road car of the period. Ferrari built ten original examples and converted two 250 Europas, with highly individual bodies by Pinin Farina and Vignale.
