Why it matters

Built in an exceptionally small run during 1957, Series II shortened the wheelbase from 2,800 to 2,600 mm while retaining the Tipo 126 4,962 cc Lampredi V12 and Tipo 514 chassis. Four cars received Pinin Farina’s refined coupé body, while one was uniquely bodied by Scaglietti and another expressed Pinin Farina’s experimental Superfast theme. With only six examples, Series II is among the rarest and most individual Ferrari road-car families.
